Ive started using a texting app, instead of texting from my phone. The app permits selection of a phone #; Im not using my work-cell number.

 

Question: can recipients differentiate between cell generated texts and app generated texts? I texted myself, and didnt see a difference.

 

I'm asking, because the last 3 escorts Ive texted with the app - twice each, hours apart - never replied.

So I wonder if its a coincidence, or if something else is at play.

• Can a phone be set to ignore web-app texts?
  
• Do some phones id app-texts differently?
  
• Is there something about the assigned phone #. I can pay a fee and activate the number for voice calls.....
