Well, maybe not mania but it is very interesting. Even here in LA I was able to follow it with no problems. It is still markedly visible with a crescent sun (10:52 am PST).

totally clouded over here in San Francisco Bay. Even well inland. While not unusual in SF City, fairly unusual for the fog/clouds to not have burned off by mid-morning well inland. But today, we even had a little drizzle.

 

Glad I wasn't caught up in the mania.
