I was just looking at the "members online" on the Forum page and noticed the following

 

Total: 196 (members: 33, guests: 115, robots: 48)

 

Just curious

  1. how do they know if it is a "robot" and not a real person?
  2. This might be obvious but just to be sure what is the robot doing here?
