The next one visible in the US will be on April 8, 2024. If you live in Carbondale IL, you had today's eclipse and will also have the next one.

It should be noted that the next one will pass from Mexico to the US, unless Trump's wall stops it.

Absolutely spectacular site. We saw the shadow approach from 50 miles away. 150 of us on top of a mountain in Oregon. Totality went by very quickly (80 seconds). Sunset effect on the entire horizon. Sky bright until just a few minutes before totality. Even 99% eclipse too bright to look at sun, but corona incredible at full eclipse without glasses. Unique bucket list event. Fantastic!!

I hung out with a super hot co-worker 25 years younger than me. Since I've already seen many solar eclipses, I was more interesting in watching him than I was in watching the eclipse.
