HIV+ and Barebacking

Trying to deal with a friend that bareback's but that's not the real problem. Now he is just only a friend no way in hell have I or would ever want to hook up with him because of the barebacking.

 

He met a new person that was into fucking that loved barebacking also (One Night Stand). About three days after this meet my friend found out the new guy was HIV+, but the part that pisses me off until he gets tested in 3 months he will still see his regulars on a weekly bases and not tell them anything about the HIV+ guy. He is going to wait the 3 months till he get tested and then decide if he should tell them.

 

My question is should these regulars know now??? Should I tell his regulars or keep my mouth closed

Without getting into the morality of BBing., I'm not sure I see the point of your concern. Based upon the percentage of gay men in the US who are HIV+, it is fair to conclude that all BBs are either HIV+ or will become HIV+ -- including your friend and the people with whom he has unprotected sex. And I'm sure they know this too. They're going to live their lives the way they want to and I doubt that they would appreciate your interference.

I agree with the above two responses. The question is ridiculous. Who is kidding whom? Not trying to be critical for asking the questions...just think about the situation at a deeper level...and yes, it has been discussed. If you elect to have sex with someone you don't know...or someone you do know who has multiple partners, you better protect yourself..
