Well, some models do escort, or rather, some escorts do model, so not sure if it is enough to dismiss the possibility that a Chinese guy comes to the US and hopes to pay for his ticket by escorting while here. Just 4 clients would do it.

I got luck in midtown earlier this year, a cute Chinese guy was doing just that for a week in his hotel near my office for $140 an hour. Had him 3 times that week!

I would agree that an escort could also be a model. My understanding was that the poster observed that his photos came from unrelated models websites
