Hiya. Fairly new here but have been lurking a bit to see if I could get the info I was looking for but thought it would be easier to ask outright.

 

I've hired a couple of masseurs, mostly from Masseurfinder.com. Some have been good, some have been strange. Basically, I'm an infrequent massage-getter because it's a stretch for me financially but I treat myself every blue moon. Now is one of those times and I'd like to hire someone who fits my needs. I am always seeking a balance between an actual serious massage situation to work out my knots and help me destress and find balance but I would be lying if I didn't appreciate someone sexy with some sensual elements. I'm pretty shy too so having a little bit of trustworthiness and sensitivity to that is a bonus. Past disappointments have mostly been the quality of the actual massage (weak) on one end and on the other, too outrightly porny (not looking for an escort). I don't mind sensual or even a bit sexual but that's not a priority and I was surprised as to the number of times that something that physical began to happen.

 

You guys seem to have the best knowledge so I leave it to you. Did I leave anything out? Tips, please! Thanks!!

Welcome. Might be helpful to know a bit more about your preferences. Into specific kinds of guys? (in terms of physical characteristics or personality). Partial to certain settings? Speaking for myself, most of my experience is in spas rather than one-on-one masseurs; that doesn't seem to be your thing. But if you can provide more parameters, maybe other guys will chime in.

If you're not looking for sexual or sensual, Burin (advertises on M4m) has been around for a long, long time, and really knows how to give an excellent massage. He's on the upper west side.

I'm really not particular about a look of a masseur but much more focused on personality. I'm a bit shy so I really would prefer someone with a really solid personality. You're right that while I'm really not partial to incall or outcall situations, I'm not so into a spa setting. At the end of the experience, I really want to feel like I've treated my muscles as good as I've treated my brain and my, uh, libido? But really looking for a safe and comfortable situation where I can heal and relax with maybe some extra fun stuff? Dont know if that's helpful but thanks!
