Check this out! I got 2 hours at the Knickerbocker hotel for $80 and 3 hours at the Roosevelt for $50.

A totally discreet and convenient way to spend a few hours of quality time at luxury hotels in New York. Not sure about other cities. Goodbye fleabag motels!

Looks promising. Very new, just a few thousand downloads, only NYC & SF. But I am in SF area, so interested.

Must still be in development... as it wont install on any of my Android devices. (Downloads, but never installs)

Finally got it to load. As of last night, only 4-5 properties in SF, two by the airport, one in Oakland. All but one are $50 an hour, one is $60.

Interestingly, all were available when I first loaded the app, early evening. But most said "no availability" when I looked again at 11pm. I wonder if thats occupancy-driven, or some other screening policy, or even staffing level driven.

I need to learn the fine print details. It appears to charge a minimum, and then by the minute after one hour. I dont know if hotel taxes are included... those can be substantial in SF and NYC.

I see it starts billing upon occupancy, or 30 minutes after confirming, whether youre there or not. So, making a reservation remotely and getting stuck in traffic, or waiting on a rentguy who is running late.... even taking too much time afterwards.... it could get costly.

Better idea if youre in town, in neighborhood, and want a place for quick shower and change. Ive gone out on fishing charters all-day, then met people for dinner. Perfect solution!

But for rentguys... you really cant confirm a location in advance. I suppose you could sit in lobby, ask escort to meet in lobby, then secure the room as he arrives... hopefully still available. I wouldnt like that if I was escort.

So, for me, this will be another tool to consider. Particularly if room inventory increases. But there are often last minute deals for very nice hotels, where a full day/night is $150....
