Sunday Nights in Tampa

A couple months ago, they started doing a weekly gay night at a straight strip club called Skin. They had some special events off and on for the past few years on select Sunday nights - usually on holiday weekends. But now they hoped to go every Sunday night. Gotta give em credit for trying but yikes. I don't think this will last. It's too bad - there were actually some good looking guys, but only a small handful of customers. Really felt bad for the dancers. Not much opportunity to make any money.

 

Strike 1: no alcohol. That's so big... let's make that strike 2 as well.

 

Strike 3: Did I mention no alcohol? Yeah no alcohol. Smoky as all hell. Almost no lighting. Shady neighborhood. Typical over the top prices... $10 entry, $5 (inc $1 tip) for a Ginger Ale, no privacy in the private rooms unless you go champagne room - which you might as well just hire an escort. And the DJ is one of those annoying cheesy hacky straight strip club guys that just won't shut up.

 

And plus... get this, no alcohol Forgot to mention that.

 

Guys do get nude, but eh, whatever - I'd be fine with them getting down to underwear if it means they could sell alcohol. Because they don't sell alcohol. Shit forgot to mention that til now. Sorry.

 

I will say they at least try to have a dancer for all tastes. There were thick solid black guys, white muscular gym dudes, a couple twinks... and guys in between.

 

Think that's all I can think of for the review.
