9 Cancellations this week....yes You've read that right. I had NINE people flake on me.

 

3 went MIA the day of us meeting..not responding to Texts etc

 

3 "Claimed" to be on their way with my Address, Only to not show up. One guy even went as far as saying "Hey man was Rearended by another car...sorry!"

Sure you could chalk this up as It being something I've said/done. But I am 100% certain that's not the case. I was 100% polite the entire time, answered questions...great reviews etc etc.

 

 

I've said this YEARS ago now but if it werent for my regulars... 1. I'd had been Homeless. 2. I would have loss my sanity. Its my REGULARS who remind me that not only of my Time being Valuable, but why I enjoy the business at times(Great connections/conversations)

Hmm, interesting, there would be a form of self censorship from the part of the escort, to avoid frightening future clients... well, maybe that is for the best, they would have to only report fairly and objectively, rather than insult any customer, even the worst ones. And I assume "no show" would only be a flag, no need to "write" about this.

It is hard to remain objective as you don't know what category to use. Frankly, I don't think you can. Cleanliness of the client lying on you table/bed? Shape/size? Attitude? Everyone is different. You can't even talk about fees as some will give tips while others simply won't. Those that add tips vary as well, unless you specifically add a percentage as tips to your fee. And, how do other escorts know this was your client unless you actuallly divulge personal client details.

 

Maybe a check mark that the client had cancelled as you mentioned. Maybe if enough escorts do flag a client for cancellations that other escorts would not be inclined to book the client. Then again, I would feel bad for a client that has been flagged in this manner. I lmow people whose schedules change on a whim so they have legitimate excuses. One of whom is my go-to guy for advice.

This texting/app culture... which includes very short attention spans, and causes people to delude themselves that they're multi-tasking..... is affecting all aspects of life. Not just escorting. It breeds inconsiderate behavior. I dont like it, but there's nothing to be done about it.... so better to just accept it. Lower your expectations of others' civility. And cling to your own standards of behavior, as you cant really affect others'.

 

If escorts started posting reviews of clients, they'd probably lose business. I see the value of a blacklist for serious transgressions. But clients would become even more skittish than at present regarding their confidentiality. It's not an even footing, the escort-client business relationship.... escorts choose to put themselves out there, to promote and attract business; clients only choose to consume.

Having been in a professional business that worked on appointments for 40 years this sort of thing is unfortunately par for the course... and frustrating as all hell... and I operated a very professional type service where one would think that people would have a certain amount of respect for one's time. Not the case... and I heard all sorts of crazy excuses... and they even would call to confirm and say that they were on the way... and as you say not show up... of course when they really wanted you they would show up at your door sans appointment and expect service...

 

There should be a network that outs such folks... as in the "Difficult Patient" espisode on Seinfeld!

 

Oh, and if I had the lost income I would have able to increase my hiring over the years...

Some of what you say is a real problem, but for some things, there are ways around it, let's not be so pessimistic: The escort would not give one single rating, let's be a bit more clever than that!

He would answer specific questions of course:

• Did the client make it on time to the appointment? Yes /no
  
• If any changes were necessary, do you feel the client did his best to avoid disrupting your work schedule? Either N/A or rate from 1 to 5.
  
• Was the client unclean or smelly (unless agreed as part of the service)? rate from 1 to 5.
  
• Was the client behaving respectfully (unless agreed as part of the service)? Rate from 1 to 5.
  
• Were the client's needs easy to understand? Rate from 1 to 5.
  
• Did the client easily understand the limits of your service and the fee for the service? Rate from 1 to 5
  
• Was the payment process smooth and as agreed? Yes / no

But by your logic, escorts have a life too, and it is their right to prioritise something else than receiving $250 if they want to, so we shouldn't give them a bad review for doing that to us? Of course we should give them a bad review for giving their own life a higher priority than their clients.

 

Same with a client, if he gives something else priority over a human being who is booked for him and waiting for him with no chance of compensation for the wait, he should get rated down. Tough.

@Jock123 your smart that you remain anonymous on the forum because usually if you post anything negative about escorting they tear you to shreds... but this is real life of an escort, I mean clients vent about issues every day here, I feel like escorts should too. Honestly you can be escorting for 20 years and you still don't know whos coming to your door or if they will show up, cancel, or stop communicating when your suppose to meet.

 

Their isn't a 100 percent chance to avoid a flake but best thing to do is write down and then block their email/phone number as they will try to do the same thing in a few months thinking you've forgotten. In the short time Ive been here on the forums, the regulars who are clients seem to be very sympathetic to an escorts' service challenges. They don't want to kill the lay that's goosing their egg.

 

I think it sucks that clients are so cavalier in their failure to keep appointments. I wouldnt blame an escort for retaining some personal record... maybe a note in phone contacts or email addresses, identifying a flaking client. I'd think there'd be a small sense of triumph....."oh, you're the ass who cancelled on me twice last time I was in town..... sorry, I'm not wasting any more time on you."

I never negotiate rates with an escort. Ever. I'm either willing to pay it, or not.

 

That adds a couple of little elements in my considerations.

• If he tries dropping his rate..... I know I made a smart decision. And I'll never consider him again.
