trying to convince myself that advertisements I'm 99% certain are fake, might just be genuine?

Image search, etc... found instagram....all of the things clients can try for verification tell me it cant be real. And yet, for several minutes, I find myself unwilling to let go of that one-in-a-million chance he's the real deal....

 

I'll move on. Without difficulty. Won't call. But its a familiar occurrence....

Would it be faster if you equipped yourself so you could reach out with a video chat confirmation request and ignore any answer other than "yes"? It's hard for me to gauge, it seems like you have "fear of missing out" so maybe it would be worth it just to ease your mind.

I like that. As I began all this, I'd see such great comments about this guy or that guy, and think yeah, I'm going to hire him too.

 

Now, as I've gotten some experience under my belt, I'm a bit more realistic. I think about whether he's the right person for me at this time based on my experience, my desires, and pushing my own envelope a bit. None of us can ever predict how a meeting will unfold, but it's more comfortable, yet exciting at the same time, to hire for me, and not to just be able to say I hired him too.
