The local news channel recently ran a story about someone doing extreme skiing down a local mountain. Below is a picture that shows the ski tracks in the snow.

Yeah, that's the one. Halfway between Salt Lake City and Provo.

 

I've hiked to the top before from the North side. But I never imagined that anyone would attempt to ski down the South side. That took some balls!

 

So, how do you know about Timpanogos? Another Utahn out there?

 

For those interested in the mountain, here's a link. The hike to the cave is not that far but is rather steep. But the switchback trail to the top is not that difficult a hike but it's a full-day hike if you want to take things easy and enjoy the scenery.
