Are you sure? He looks so nice and handsome. And has interviews that he seems pretty decent.

In your post, when you wrote "interviews" I assume you meant reviews. I also assume you mean the reviews on his rentmen ad.

If you go back to his ad, you will find five reviews. However, one of those reviews is negative and the reviewer of the negative review said that he would not recommend nor hire the alleged crook, oops, I mean escort again.

How did he have your money so earlier?

He required payment up front when we met in a public place. In hindsight that was not a good idea but I was also relying on his reviews on rentmen. However he asks you not to contact him on there and rentmen will not allow you to post reviews unless you have some contact on their website. I would assume he knows this and that is why he asks you to contact him directly.

I don't want to engage in coulda woulda shoulda but don't ever do that again.

Is this a new policy? I've posted reviews on Rentmen without contacting then through the RM site.

As one who has fallen prey to a pretty face once or twice, I can confirm the obvious that looks have nothing to do with a guy's character.

1. Established guy with great reviews since January 2016.

2. New guy just signs up to trash someone.

However if he really did move his website instead of coming here to defend himself I guess that says something too. Not to mention being a complete dumbass ie make yourself guilty.

Hmm. Not saying it's not true but credibility is lacking.

Normally I would agree with you @caliguy but I think the OP may be telling it as it is. Whenever I read a post about a potential scammer or fraud on RM I like to get the other side of the story. In this case I contacted the escort in question for his side of the story however I didn't mention that I had discovered the information about him on this site. He terse response was "Where did you read that?" Before I had a chance to reply his RM ad had been deactivated and I got the dreaded 404 RM screen.

As is the case in many of these types of situations we will never know exactly what happened between these two individuals. The escort hiring world is a dark one full of innuendo, secrecy, clandestineness and who knows what else. This time, though, I'm going with the OP. Hopefully other Forum members will come forward and prove me wrong. While I'm very old I'll never be too old to admit I'm wrong.

I have no way to prove my credibility other than post the texts where he responded saying he got a bad feeling and decided to leave. He said he would give me the money back however when I tried to follow up on getting it back he has still yet to respond and I was not about to give him my address as he requested.

I would've been on his side till I saw the recent Houdini act.

Have you tried Venmo or Paypal? Very easy to do without giving out any private information. Just an email is required.

At any rate, I wonder if he marked you just because he knew you couldn't review him or you were operating from discretion. Like he wouldn't dare do this to someone established. That makes it even more shady as it was planned in advance.

GOOD REVIEWS GOOD LOOKS DONT MEAN SHIT "Clients have scammed me before - it's how I know you're serious - it's how I know you're not a cop, it covers my espenses if you change your mind blah blah blah. The only reason to ask for money up front at the actual appointment is find a way to just LEAVE with it, or find a way to make YOU leave, or if in a public place find a way to leave AND leave you with the bar tab. END OF STORY AND NO ONE WILL CONVINCE ME OTHERWISEo_O *yah yes okay scorts do occasionally get scammed Ima sure some even here have their refusal to pay afterwards refusal to pay agreed amount afterwards or client dashes out afterwards stories I don't doubt that. I also don't doubt the REVERSE outnumbers those stories 100-1.

Shit I just saw that he requires a multiple hour rate up front on an already overly inflated hourly rate. My first look was it's only around $200. Suck it up and move on. Yeah, that's kind of a chunk of change. Sorry that this happened OP.

From now on..you want it up front. Sure. Here's $20 and I got the rest waiting for you.

Yeah I asked if he would do paypal and no response. I am chopping it up to experience and moving on. I can live with the money loss, otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I just don't like being deceived. And I am mad I cannot give him a negative review on there to protect other people.

In hindsight I should have asked him to leave the money when he went to the bathroom, and I almost did. I guess I just got nervous. Live and you learn. Glad I have at lease spooked him and hopefully other people will find this when they google him.
