Odd Rent.Men experiences

When I want to look at RM, I will Google "rentmen (city)", and click on what is usually the top result, and get the annoying screen where I have to choose either rentmen.com or rent.men (choosing the later), and it gives me the list of guys in that city.

Now, I window shop daily, but don't have a membership, so don't sign in to RM. And, admittedly, I'll look at an ad for a guy that interests me many times. About a month ago, I saw ad for a guy that was going to be visiting in a few months, and just recently realized the ad was gone. So, I googled "rentmen (escort name)", and there was his ad, not showing as expired, with the same travel dates he will be visiting.

On only one other occasion, I did my google "rentmen (city)" and didn't see an ad, but when I googled "rentmen (escort name)", saw the ad with no indication it has expired.

My question, are you able to selectively prohibit those without RM memberships from viewing your ads?

I dont know the answer. But i can report that I've looked up escorts I know to be working in San Francisco at present, perhaps due to this forum. But the search of San Francisco by the location list or my GPS does NOT display the escort.

And yet, if I find the escort's ad, it will clearly show he's visiting SF on the present dates. Not in location, but in travel plans.

My hypothesis is that there are multiple elements to setup and/or manage for an advertising RentMan.... and failure to toggle or permit update of a specific info field, may affect search and sort results.

Thanks. I was beginning to think paranoia was setting in.
