I'm traveling to the Philippines in July for work-related reasons. I'm going to be staying in Metro Manila for two weeks, working the normal hours there, so I should have at least one weekend when I can have some fun.

Metro Manila - think of it as a county with over 15 different cities in it, Manila being one of them. One thing you want to know is that it's the most densely populated metropolitan area in the world. And the traffic is bad. Really bad. Do you know what hotel you'll be in?

I have spent much much time in and around Manila -- there is (was?) An active street scene in malate, around O Bar and Bed and I am happy to check with my buds there to see if that is still the case. As for me, I very much enjoyed the saunas. There is also an active massage parlor scene, mostly in the Quezon City area.
