I don't think he's supposed to go to a movie on his first date. It defeats the purpose of getting to know someone when neither can talk. She would've been busy texting anyway regardless of the venue if she didn't like him.

 

It's like a coworker of mine wondering why the guy doesn't pay her any attention. She took him to where she used to worked - Hooters. I thought I heard someone pressed the doorbell after she said that. "Ding dong"
