Barcelona and Sitges

I am planning a solo trip to Barcelona and Sitges this summer. For forum members who have visited those places I am looking for recommendations on where to stay. When I travel alone I like the feel of friendly gay guesthouses where I can meet other gay people and socialize. Any thoughts?

There is this Axel Hotel in the core of gay Example... Bourgeois gay quarter... And you may coincide with the Circuit fest, end of July... Those days sauna Thermas is at full capacity
