Totally agree with the above - PreP doesn't mean that people will/do BB necessarily. It adds another layer of protection (and adds to peace of mind).

Condoms break, sexual assault happens, so why not take extra precautions?

Yeah I believe it is him...same number anyway.

On PREP. Sigh. It doesn't stop other STDs. In fact they are spiking amongst gay men who think PREP makes unprotected sex just peachy. And there are antibiotic-resistant strains of some of them now so no thanks .

He does indicate that he does safe only. So that's a plus.

Anone havea recent experience with him?

Are you assuming that because he's on PREP he is engaging in unsafe sex? (I can't see the vids so maybe that's what's in them). I know there are plenty of idiots out there who think PREP is a cure-all, but for the most part people I know on PREP know that it doesn't stop other STDs and they are still only engaging in safe sex. I would be more surprised to find an escort who isn't taking PREP.

I did notice that two of the four vids on his profile page have bareback activity

If you're truly safe only, you don't promote yourself in an unsafe way

Anyone that advertises they're on PReP usually means they're ok with bareback. Why else advertise it You can catch other std's just easily with so called "safe sex".

However, I assume by your name that you're trying to protect your spouse so yes doing everything you can to avoid bringing something back is smart.

Absolutely not the case - it can also signal that someone cares about protecting his health and the health of his clients.

Both of your assumptions are asinine.

Nope. Just facts that are observed. Although I'm only speaking of those that advertise it.

This could be a whole other subject. When you see a guy advertising PReP. Does BB come to mind or is this an advertisement for his concern for both of Yinz health? Now I've only seen the former and I've seen allot.

That doesn't make any sense. Then just say safe sex. PreP is about protecting yourself. Not your client.

I think you might be a bit removed from how much fear and concern a "straight" married man might have making his first hire, for example.

If a companion can give the client more reassurance that the companion is doing everything in his power to keep himself free of HIV (and to lower the client's risk at the same time), why wouldn't a companion advertise that?

Safer plus PreP > Safer

You have a point there. An advertising strategy. Good way to set yourself apart. You get more of the married guys and even the ones that aren't so safe. A win/win. Besides. who's looking anyways.

Sites like Grindr and Scruff and you can bet that it's meant as BB.
