Yeah, it was fun!. @latbear4blk is a funny guy, we had a good chat before the performances started. It's true I was a little reserved to start, but after all the dancers had come out, I was giving most of the guys at least a little bit of attention. While Jesse was talking to you, I gave him a good once over front and back. He was very nice, checking in with me as the evening progressed, since I stayed later. As it turned out, they did not close at 1, and I left about 2 am, after getting a lapdance from Gabriel. Had to do it so I could say I did.

 

Legend was the flavor of the night, I noticed he was on the small stage in the back and there was somewhat of a crowd around him, I can't imagine what he might have been doing to himself to generate such attention.

 

Next time Sept 2?

Wish there was a gathering in SF. But not that much, i guess. As mentioned in a prior post, arrangements can be a nightmare.

 

I once made the mistake of volunteering to coordinate a local SF Bears outing. Never again.

I know. Last DC luncheon attempt was a fiasco.

That is why I think this kind of venue is perfect. There are no arrangements to make, we just meet up at the club. It does not even have to be a big annual event, with @oldNbusted we are probably going to be meeting every long week end.

In my 25 yrs in the Bay Area... theres been an on again off again event called guerrilla queer bar. Basically, someone identifies a mainstream aka "straight" venue, puts out the word, and people show up, making it a "gay" venue for that night. It was a blast.

 

Latest rebirth was a few years ago, but i believe that died too.

1. The most I'd do is to use this forum to identify a time and date I'll be at NobHill or some gay bar, so others might go. Candidly, as much as I love living in Bay Area, I'd be shocked if anyone would show.
   
2. If I'm starting a gofundme, it'd be to pay for my insurance premiums once the Republicans get done fucking around with healthcare. And since i really dont need the money, once I'd called attention to the matter, I'd find some worthy cause and donate it. (And yeah, i know this sort of post belongs elsewhere)
