Large number of Fake Reviews lately??

I just posted this in Daddy's area, but I'm wondering if it's just me, or do others here smell major fakery in lots of the Newest Reviews lately? x( (See many Reviews by first-time Reviewers).

 

I believe something was said about improving the screening process for Reviewers. Hopefully that's undertaken soon. :o

"Fake" Reviews are always an on going discussion. But I think part of the questioning of "Credibility" of the "First Timers", comes from the "Escorts" who ask guys who have Never reviewed before.. to Review them. I guess it is the old saying "We all were First Timers"..IN a "Larger" Market like NYC, THE ESCORTS will definitely hookup with Guys who have Reviewed more than just a few guys! They inturn are Reviewed with alot more Credibility! IF you do the Search..alot of us who use the same Review Name, consistantly have Reviewed alot of the Same Guys! BUT some of the 1st Reviews.."Definitely as proven" are pure B/S...:+

JT, I know and agree with everything you said. I was a first time Reviewer (I took great pains to establish my bona fides by posting here for a few months before my first Review), and I'm now up to 7, so I know the drill. But it seems to me that for the past month or so, I've smelled a lot more fake Reviews than usual. Or, maybe I'm just getting better at ID'ing them. :+

Over the past month there have been more total reviews posted than there usually is. So, maybe the percentage of questionable reviews is the same - just more of them posted.

Well, I can say I just sent in my first review and it is no fake so I'm not sure what you're going to be looking for. There's a first time for everything. Jason was great, so my choice was to not say anything or tell you guys how I felt about him.

IMHO..Thurs. Review of Marco Bravo/Boston..Again a First Timer who has ADORING things to say about him..ALL his 1st Timers Adore him! BUT going down the line, the guy was "Red Flagged by Hooboy", All very Creditable guys would not Repeat with him for different reasons! I guess this guy just doesn't know how to pull off a good Fake Review? :+

I think to a point, guys with only one review and being from a first time reviewer, you may have to be wary. But at this point these have not shown to be the traps by our favorite hustler who has had more ink than anyone with his pay in advance scam routine. Just need to do your own work up if you have the time. Like with anything you just can't accept everything as gospel.

 

I would not discount the guy with the long review, my first one was long on an established who has since left the profession. I stayed with long reviews because I believe more is better. Besides if a guy is going to go through all the effort of setting the scene as hot as he did. He is certainly worth the phone call or e-mail to see if it is real. In fact his e-mail response could very well tell you if it is the same guy. People do have a habit of mispelling and using the same slang in all of their writing.

 

Really if the person did write their own first review, how many of the those guys turned out to be true hustlers versus the guys who had too much "integrity" to do that. For all the escorts who say this site does not effect their business than why would guys go through so much trouble to get something posted in the reviews.

 

It still comes down to a question of common sense communicating with the escort. The risk are those that want to do it on the fly then go with established guys if you want no risk. If you want to take a flier on someone most credible guys will say if you open the door and do not like say, "gee not what I was looking for" and pass. Tell the guy up front "I do not pay in advance, I put in plain site". There is always new guys coming on the scene and they all have to start somewhere.

Fake Reviews on Marco Bravo??

 

On today's review on Marco Bravo (4-14) he has 11 reviews. One good review, three reviews using the same identical IP addresses and then Marco responded to Hoo using the same IP address as the flaged reviews. Only one good reviewer and his review was thumbs down. Now should we take Marco as a fake or not. I go with thumbs up as a FAKE x(

All Reviewers were once first time Reviewers, obviously, myself included. The problem is, it's common knowledge that several (many?) escorts either write Reviews for themselves or arrange to have it done by someone other than a client. There was a recent discussion about it in which one very well known and well respected escort basically said, "Get used to it. It happens all the time." Well, sorry, but that's gaming the system: the more fake Reviews that are published, the less credibility this site has.

 

Anywho, this has been discussed here ad nauseum in the past. I was just wondering if anyone else picked up on what I have smelled the past few weeks. Actually the obvious fakes give me a good chuckle. :+

To JOEL304 - Don't mean to BASH you but I believe you're referring to the 3 reviews on April 9th, 2005 for Premier in Philadelphia. If you look a little closer you'll see that there was only 1 review that day of Ricky Hanson. Kyle and Marcellos's entry on that day were postings of their new photos. Kyle's last review was 10/19/04 and Marcello's was 2/15/05. We've been thru this many times on this message board before. We like to keep the photos on this board current with our website and update them here whenever we update our site. I usually send them into M4M once a month however all the new photos get posted at once on the same day and it looks like Premier has 5 or 6 reviews in one day but in reality they're just new photos being posted. Hope this clarifies any confusion.

That was indeed my first review, and I'm glad some liked it although it was very long. Jeff Z is a good guy, and my experience with him was outstanding. I was just wondering if anyone else out there, who has had the pleasure of meeting with him, would like to comment on the experience or share notes. My review from April, 2005, is still the only one I see posted for him.
