I am not able to use Viagra due to controled high blood pressure. Over the years, my performance has slipped. Even with the stimulation of being around some of the most beautiful men in the world and who are virtually naked (the saunas and beaches of Rio), I still feel the need for enhanced capability. A good friend recommended Muse, which is safe for my situation. It involves injecting a tiny pellet in my dick. He says that he does it and that it is not painful, and is very effective. I was wondering if any of you out there in Hoo Land have any experience with the use of Muse

High bloood pressure is not a contraindication to taking Viagra. In fact, sildenafil (Viagra's ingredient) was originally investigated as a blood pressure medication. The only absolute contraindication (other than being allergic to it, of course) is nitrate use (which is used to treat mainly coronary disease). In fact, Viagra is the only oral erectile aid which may be taken with ANY blood pressure medication (there is a caution with alpha-blockers, whereas Levitra and Cialis are contraindicated with alpha-blockers).

Among patients who can't take the oral agents, injections into the penis (i.e. with papeverine) tend to be associated with less discomfort and better erections than with MUSE. Actually, I've never met a single patient who's been happy with MUSE, but I'd be curious to hear from the first.

The needles used for injection are tiny and not painful. On the other hand, sticking the small grain of rice-sized MUSE supository into the urethra does sting. Of course, Viagra is certainly easier if it can be given and works. Vacuum pumps and surgery are also options.

Thank you very much for the information. I was talking to a friend who thought all high blood pressure meds would be a countraindication for viagra. I just assumed he knew what he was talking about. I have since gone to the official viagra site and confirmed that I am not on alpha blockers, and have have never had an issue (knock on wood) with my heart. The only issue is that I weight 340 pounds (have lost 100 on Atkins, so am working on it). Have never been told that sex is dangerous for me. In fact, some of my best workouts were at 117 in Rio. Am looking for a bit of "enhancement" and am not starting from zero.
