"Judy Garland Show" Last Song (1964)

Judy Garland had a weekly variety show in 1963-64 on CBS Sunday nights at 9 PM. Garland was devastated when the show was not renewed for a second season. Her last song was fine ("Here's to Us") but was never shown because Judy was dressed as a clown from a previous song, which was a well-intended mistake.

 

In retrospect, "Here's To Us" was the perfect upbeat ending. It would have helped Judy if it had been broadcast, but not enough.

This medley is from the same Judy Garland Show, which was broadcast in the fall of 1963. By accident I did see the out of town tryout of "Funny Girl" in Boston four or five months later.
