Sunday in the Park and The Price

[Doe Be Doe]

I recently saw two plays I had never seen nor knew much about. I had a wonderful time both times.

 

Sunday in the Park with George: I knew nothing about it but really enjoyed it a lot. It's Sondheim, so it's complicated but I'm a Jake Gyllenhaal fan and he does a fantastic job. I was not familiar with Annaleigh Ashford, but she did an equally amazing job.

 

The Price: I really did not want to go see this, but a yes to a friend a while ago forced me to go. Once again I really enjoyed the play. Very intense. Right to the heart of family issues. But Arthur Miller, what a genius.

 

I recommend both for what it's worth.
