My most significant tip for you is the result of the most embarrassing moment of my life. Make sure you clean yourself out very thoroughly before you bottom. (I was young and uninformed, and let's just say that I ruined a very nice man's new, white sheets... I seriously had no idea about cleaning at that point, but I sure learned quickly after that).

Who said it? "Cleanliness is next to godliness, but for me, cleanliness is next to impossible." Last time I was preparing to bottom, I had to use an enema eight times before shit stopped appearing. By that time, (1) I was out of the mood (almost); (2) I felt like my butt was full of water (though I paused and tried to get rid of it); and (3) a few hours later I was afraid I'd be messy again. It's almost easier to let the shit fall where it may, and then pause for a shower.

What am I doing wrong?

Douching isn't great for you. I do it if I have to, but if you can avoid it, all the better.

I've plugged this product before on the forum, but I promise I am not on a retainer. I use Pure for Men as a fibre supplement, and am always clean and ready to go after a quick trip to the bathroom: https://www.pureformen.com/. Other fibre supplements may work for you too, though I have found the blend that Pure use to be most effective.

(Also, here is a good guide to douching: http://thehealthybear.com/a-guide-to-douching/).

I know I do it the wrong way, but it works for me. If I know I'm going to be bottoming I won't eat... sometimes up to a full day before. And then about an hour before sex I use my shower attachment and run hot water in and out of me for about 15 minutes. So, yeah... I over-compensate on the cleaning now in a desperate attempt to avoid reliving my embarrassing moment. But it does the trick.
