Since Hooboy has "left the building", his site and legacy lives on.

We all have posted our messages of condolences and gratitude to Hooboy for having the foresight and vigor to create this site. I am just thankful that he lived long enough to see it go from unknown to the top of the mountain. I am just saddened to think that when history is written, he might be over-looked. I thought about his impact and legacy while reading the thread regarding how some men miss the days of being able to find “working boys” at some bars and on particular street corners and parks in larger cities. Most working boys have now moved to the internet.

Fellas just think what a tremendous bearing Hooboy’s conception has had on the world of escorting. Not only can us clients find valuable information regarding good and bad escorts, but escorts alike now have a place to post their travel plans and see clients while they travel the world.

In the days following Hooboy’s passing, I was happy to finally see a post started by an escort, who recognized the impact this site has on his business and wanted to publicly thank Hooboy. However, I was also disappointed to find that only a few escorts actually acknowledged the importance and significant impact this site makes on their business.

So Hooboy, thank you.

Thank you for giving us guys in that endless pursuit of safe fun, a place where we can come together as one. Sometimes we throw stones at each other, but in the end we come together and are eternally grateful to you and your wisdom. Thank you Hooboy, your site has taught me more than I could ever learn for my personal life experiences. Hooboy might not be recorded in history as a pioneer of the internet, but his creation made a damn big difference in my life and that story is the most valuable to me.

I was one of the people who posted concerning my sadness over the closing of so many hustler bars and strip clubs in New York City over the last decade. In addition, I live in Philadelphia, a city that has one of the best escort agencies in the country. While I read the reviews, I use this site much more for the interaction on the message center including the discussion of escorts. Would my life had been significantly different without this site and the Internet? No, it would not have been because of Premier, although I am very glad it's here.

When Matt Adams published his book "Hustlers Escorts and Porn Stars,"

that seemed like a break through. Looking through the book now, it seems very dated and a very minor event compared to this site.

There is no doubt that this site will be remembered as the major turning point in the hiring of hustlers/escorts. Yes, I am upset about the closing of Stella's, the Gaiety and Rounds as well as many other hustler hang outs throughout the country. I am most familar with the closing of Rounds a decade ago, at the time that closing seems to have more to do with a Republican mayor cleaning up the city than the Internet. Now I am not so sure because there is a new NY City mayor and a new relatively upscale hustler bar, like Rounds, has not opened. I discount the Townhouse, because it has a very different feel that Rounds and many fewer hustlers.
