I realize there are a couple of threads on this Guy, and that he's well known and has a number of reviews, but all of the reviews are from 2014 or earlier, as are the pictures and videos in his profile. He posted here on this forum last year and cited a web page and Twitter page that don't exist. I was excited to see that he's traveling to my part of the world but am now apprehensive. Has anyone had contact with Eli lately?

I think RydeMyButt is spot on. I met (and reviewed) Eli several years ago. He does not now seem to be the same person. Wish I could amend (or retract) my review.

are you referring to the guy that had the heart attack in December?

 

It also looks like the twitter page for this pro has references to him getting sober in 2015

One and the same. Sobriety has been a challenge for Eli, which he seems to readily admit.
