Update on Vegas Strip Parking - mid April 2017

Parking continues to change rapidly. MGM has already increased their parking fees. Caesar’s Entertainment and MGM Resorts charge for parking at most of their Strip locations. In some cases the 1st hour is free. Then expect at least $7 for 4 hours and $10 for 24 hours. But it might be more than double that depending on the property. Consumer beware!

Free parking on the Strip? As of mid-April there are still some places if you do self parking.

Shopping Centers:

Fashion Show Mall

Shoppes at Mandalay Place (between Luxor and Mandalay Bay - MGM Property)

Get used to Strip properties going harder on the nickle & dime routine: Table profits are down, the EDM DJ scene is slowly dying out and the trend of celeb chefs aren't as profitable as they were 10 years ago. Vegas, while certainly not on their last leg, continues to look for creative ways to maximize profits.

I want to add that on Facebook there is a game called MyVegas as well as a few apps from the same folk. You play slots or blackjack and earn points that you can redeem for discounted or sometimes free rooms, Cirque shows, buffets and other goodies at MGM properties. The points can be used for cruises and other gambeling stuff down south as well. When I went in Jan as a gift to myself and the boyfriend for the hellish summer we got a dinner buffet at Bellagio for free, a lunch buffet at Aria for free and a free ticket to see Love. The money saved can easily be applied to a one hour fee to your favorite hooker or in some cases depending on where he is you can fly him to you in Vegas for what you saved.

Hugs,

Greg

I want to add that I recently took the plunge and took the bus from the airport to my hotel in downtown Vegas (yes I am a mid rent hooker) and found it very easy. I mean for a couple bucks I got to see a part of Vegas I hadn't seen and it felt like it was a lil faster than taking one of the shuttle buses.

Hugs,

Greg

I thank not2rowdy for his post. The information is highly user-friendly and comes just when I am debating where I want to spend my next birthday. I have three city choices: Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Las Vegas. The latter city will give me the best for my money beginning with lodging. I plan to stay with a longtime friend for no more than a day or two, then off to a hotel for some "torrid" male-to-male fun and play!
