Hoping I can get a very good recommendation for a decent (or not) Spa with 'extras' here in Manhattan (or nearby). I'm straight but, very curious and I think going to a spa feeling a man touch my body for the first time will be a good start. (I've watched PLENTY of Massage porn and I think it's time to move on to the real thing). Please help.

I haven't had any experience with spas either, but I think that you ought to consider a real massage from a more experienced and competent masseur who advertises on Massage For Men or Masseurfinder. You DO NOT want a happy ending, nor do you want a masseur who promises to be interactive, or to be sure to massage your inner thighs. (That's what I always prefer, but you're not me.)

There are two sections on Masseurfinder, Heal and Relax. Ignore the Relax section (but it would be a good comparison), and concentrate on a masseur who offers a "therapeutic" massage, rather than an erotic massage.

One masseur you might consider is Burin, who advertises on Massage For Men. You might also ask here for specific recommendations of masseurs who offer a therapeutic massage, which is what you seem to be looking for.

Dominic Vyne, who also advertises on M4M, will provide you with the therapeutic massage you seek, if you tell him what you want and what you DO NOT want. (And, depending on how curious you are, Dominic will push the envelope for you a bit -- or farther than a bit.)

You can PM me for more suggestions.

I'd also recommend Peter to you. He's a really nice guy, and a licensed masseur in NY state since 2009. He will take good care of you, and if you don't want the "extras" that he provides, just tell him:

You might also consider Lysander, also in Manhattan, who's rate has been an amazingly low $70 for years. He's a good guy, and knows what he's doing. You can find his ad on M4M.

Thank you for the tips! I really appreciate this, I just want to make sure my first massage is a memorable one.

You should try the Utopia Spa on 70th St. and Lexington Ave.

https://www.utopiaspanyc.com/

This place just opened. I don't go to spas, but I know the co-owner, and decided to support his new venture. I recommend it to you. For February, they have a "special" rate of $60/hr, which includes a "table shower and body scrub." This is simply the same shower that you and I take every morning at home, except that you are lying on a table, and the masseur (clothed) uses soap and water and a wash cloth on all parts of your body. The place is spotlessly clean, and there is soft music and pleasantly low lighting. You are welcomed by the receptionist, they take your shoes, which they return to you at the end, they hang up your coat for you (in the massage room), and everyone is very pleasant and courteous.

You don't know which masseur will be assigned to you, and you cannot count on "extras." (But you might get lucky.)

You said that you would like to have a man touch your naked body for the first time, and you will have a good experience here. For $60 (I think a tip is expected, and I did), you can't go wrong -- and you will not go wrong here.

Wow, this was very helpful, thank you. I think this sounds like something I can do for a first time. Thanks again!

Adding to Beethovens Utopia post, three of the guys that work there including the highly rated Xiao are on Masseurfinder. So you could likely reserve one of them in advance.

I'm going to keep that recommendation in mind for sure. Thanks guys (you're totally making this easier for me!)
