Interesting show. Gives off a huge Gossip Girl vibe to me. Definitely worth checking out for those who like the genre. While the characters are the same as the ones in the Archie comics, the tone is a lot darker. It is kind of 90210 meets Twin Peaks.

sorry to resurrect this thread...but if you haven't seen last night's Riverdale look it up on VOD. Archie joins the wrestling team and they wear the most ridiculous singlets. Tons of skin. A new character who is a webcam boy. Directed by Gregg Araki

 

I forgot how totally absurd this show is. But OMG the eye candy!
