Hey, everyone. I'm not usually very concerned with whether or not the handful of escort ads that show up here in New Orleans are legit or not, because the talent pool is rather shallow aside from the seasonal influx of high-profile escorts that come in during peak times for festivals and such. But for some reason, the holidays always throw me for a loop. New ads pop up on multiple sites that have never advertised here before, and they are sometimes filled with inconsistencies like age or basic stats or even with names.

 

So, my question for the sexperts is this: are there any obvious giveaways that a particular ad might be a case of law enforcement trying to entrap a few low hanging fruits for soliciting? In your experience, how trustworthy are these out-of-nowhere visitors who don't have reviews and whose most basic info is often out of sync from one posting to another, but who actually go to the trouble and expense of setting up an ad on Rent.Men or the like? Considering the low volume of inquiries that males receive vs. females as well as the minimal trafficking that occurs amongst males, I doubt LE spends any time trying to fish for potential johns looking to hire male escorts. If you are finding inconsistencies in the ads or something doesn't smell right, it's most likely a scam artist who will not be the same person as the one advertised in the ad. If something seems off, avoid. If there's someone you just have to meet, ask them for photo verification such as them holding a sign with their username.
