Cancellations

At the beginning of May, I set up an appointment with a guy coming to town for about a week, today (Tues.), or tomorrow being his last day, and our appointment was for today. The plan was for him to text me when he got to town. When he texted me on Friday to confirm, I told him I had just caught a cold, so thought it best to cancel at that point, to give him as much notice a possible (I didn’t want to hope to get better by today, and if not, have to cancel at the last minute). I also sent an email saying I hope he would consider seeing me in the future. He seemed ok, but I’m worried he now considers me a flake, or time waster. I guess time will tell.

Speaking of cancellations - is it ever okay to book a back-up escort. Honestly, of course, and with the provision that the escort may accept another appointment at any time...
