Hiring in Chicago

So I am relatively new to hiring but I have an opportunity to hire twice over Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago and can't decide between the following guys:

alex ward has many good reviews. No personal experience but if I'm ever in Chicago he's on my list. I don't know if he's versatile.
