Any recommendations for the Pebble Beach/Monterey, CA area? Searches on MF and MM4M bring up San Francisco guys which is over two hours away.

In Monterey too this weekend and the timing of this thread came as a surprise. Our awesome forum doesn't have a find here yet but I'm sure a Big Sir isn't far from being discovered

There's nothing in Big "Sir" except... the rangers. ...You could try San Jose or Santa Cruz. Both great University towns. Friends have had good luck in both cities. San Jose is about an hours drive from Monterey and Santa Cruz about half that....good luck

I unfortunately do not know of anyone. I have not hired from that area, but friends have had relatively good success in both cities. Invariably the guys they hire are usually college boys, so how bad could that be.
