I remember when he passed thru town a couple of years ago - before he become more widely known - and thought he was absolutely gorgeous. He seems like a nice guy.

I recall an interview he did early in his career. He described his clientele as taking him to the theater, concerts, etc. (in contrast to what clients did with his roommate of the time, Eli Lewis). Because he was a noob, I took his comments as more of an aspiration than actuality and I think that would make me wonder if he's what OP has in mind.
