Tsunami Survivor Story

A Utah family was vacationing in Thailand when the tsunami struck. A 16-year old boy (Jai) was in a bungalow with his 15-year old sister (Kali) when they were swept away.

 

Jai lived and Kali was killed. Below is a link to a tribute he paid to his sister at her memorial service yesterday. It is a gripping story that he wrote while recovering in a Bangkok hospital.

This is a very touching story. My heart goes out to all who have suffered such tremendous losses. I know that most of us have so much to be grateful for which we too often take for granted.
