I'm only on Internet through my wifi. I can't even make wifi calls. I certainly hope I don't have an emergency tonight. :( I wonder if it's due to Hurricane Matthew.

No of course not. It was all over the country. It lasted probably about an hour.

I was referring to Matthew causing a cellular outage 3,000 miles away in your location, Gman. Even with widespread outage, it seems illogical that it is caused by storms far away. Sunspots maybe.

A failure at Level Three had almost all carriers down on the east coast earlier this week. Perhaps they're still recovering/adjusting.

There was a fire in a train tunnel in Baltimore a few years back that disrupted internet service for the entire country. The issue was many several major providers all had cables heading to an exchange point

through the same tunnel. Strange things like that can happen.
