This just warrants another reminder to stay vigilant about new ads that pop up, and that the "tried and true" guys with multiple reviews from those we can consider trusted clients (meaning for instance, clients that have submitted more then one review on Daddy's) are the least risky.

I do browse sites like Backpage that are considered riskier, but rarely hire from there unless I really get a good feeling about the ad itself (and a decent discussion with the potential escort). I stay very wary of copycat ads. For instance, recently I had seen a bunch of different ads on BP that all included only gmail addresses for responses. Something didn't look right about these ads to me. I now wonder if they might have been part of this sting. (Though, from what's in the article, it sounds like they're going after men hiring women more than gay escorts.)
