Adam4Adam site

There is a site for hookups/dating that I have been on for about 6 months called Adam4Adam. Recently, within the last 4 weeks, I have come across 6 ads with pics that I knew from first hand experience(}( ) were not pics of their dicks! I have a really good memory for things like that. What really surprised me is one guy was using MY PICS and when I emailed him to stop, called me a liar! Two guys were using pics of guys I know in Rio very well. When I contacted the site moderator, he said that they need statements from both parties involved. Ok...so the other guy is going to say what? that's not his pic! Of course he is going to say it's his, so outside of showing up in person how does a site detirmine whether fradulent pics are being used?

The thing I have never understood about guys using someone else's pics is that they are going to get found out when they meet someone from the site, so what's the point? Bait and Switch doesn't work in this kind of situation! If you are expecting to meet a guy with a 8" dick and a guy with 5" shows up.....!

Has anyone meet someone from online and have them not be the person in the pics?? I guess up to now I have been lucky, but after the last couple of weeks, I am skepical of how many guys are using fake pics.

I have to say I havent' seen this happen on http://www.gaydar.co.uk which is another site I like alot for dating, especially if you travel alot to other cities.

Using outdated or less than current pics is equally bad. Just refer to Travis in NYC.

 

Thanks for the heads up about the Adam site. I was thinking of joining, but they didn't even offer a tour to see what I might be getting. Based on your input, I'll forego the opportunity.

As in any other "bait and switch" scam, when the seller pulls the "switch" and offers you something other than what you thought you were getting, you have the choice of taking it or leaving it. Some buyers will take it rather than get nothing at all. That's why sellers in all sorts of businesses keep pulling the "bait and switch" scam year after year -- it often works.

 

If you read the thread on Travis #2 in the Deli section and read his reviews you will see that a number of buyers have paid him even though he was not as advertised.

Wow, a BIG welcome to TomCal who finally ventured north of the border to post. That's one good thing that came of this.

 

BTW: TC just why are there pics of your dick on the internet? And how did you know they were pics of your dick? Branded maybe? Tatooed maybe? Inquiring minds want to know.

VAHawk, thanks for the welcome! Your right I very seldom venture off the "south of the border" and rarely even read the other forums.

The personal pics I have on there are because both of those sites are primarily "dating/hookup" sites, although both have Escort sections. Since I travel almost weekly for business, I have found both sites good for meeting guys before coming to a city. I have found great dates in NYC, Miami and London specificly off of gaydar.co.uk (while it is London based, it has city links all over the world) and have used Adam4Adam primarily in the L.A. area.

I haven't used them for escorts, but have noticed that very few U.S. escorts are listed, but there seems to be over a hundred on the london page and many in other European cities...

The "fake" pics were on the Adam4Adam site, all in L.A. and under 6 different profiles.
