When you see a Backpage ad with no possibility of a reply, other than a text or phone call, most times the ad is part of a notorious "agent" who uses the photos of various guys occasionally advertising on other sites.

 

If you answer the ad, you will not reach the person shown in the ad.

 

The so called agent baits then switches with a different guy or worse, totally rips you off.
