I hired him a bunch of times through Rentboy back a while before it went away. He's for real, is very nice and fun to be with. He's a jovial kind of guy.

What does "all american boy" mean? A regular looking american dude? I see this phrase very often and have wondering what exactly it means.

What does "all american boy" mean?

My reading of the term (as an outsider) is that it is a white corn-fed athletic jock boy, err, I mean young man. To me it is based on that being the archetype of what it meant to be an American. I have seen the term disparaged because using it can be seen as being racist for excluding Americans of colour. To the extent that the term is even necessary, I would rather see it expand to include the image of healthy youth of any race rather than condemn the term for its exclusionary past, but language evolves how it wants, not how some users might prefer.

"All-American boy" the way I've heard it used always meant white, straight, Anglo-Saxon, Protestant with surnames that ended in consonants, not vowels. Whites/blonds like Poles and other Slavs were not included. Even Irish hardly ever made it into that category, since being Catholic was un-American. And God forbid that you knew even a smattering of another language besides English. That's just not American and can place you under suspicion. Also, to be All-American you have to be so "normal" in your behavior that there are only 3 activities allowed---competitive team sports, hunting, and beating up fags.
