FYI when playing the S&M sub I always take my glasses off saying to the dom, " Now you would never think of beating up a guy who wears glasses ... Right?!" ;)

When playing the S&M Dom I always wear them... so as to more accurately make my mark on my target... :)

One more glasses story...

A few years ago I was at a very dark venue with a very special escort. He had forgotten his glasses and for a brief period he was playing the dom. Well he was not exactly hitting his target (and that would be I!) accurately. I just took it like a man and did not want to complain as I knew that he really was quite skilled and under normal circumstances would have been right on the money.

However, I knew that he would be seeing a fellow poster in a few weeks and I admonished him to make sure that the escort was wearing his glasses, and if not to change the session to a BFE!

I can see that the glasses in that gif are not in contact with the other person's forehead, and yet I can't help wincing because I know what it feels like to have pressure put on my glasses while kissing. It's not at all sexy.

Men who can kiss someone wearing glasses without making it a painful experience are rare, which is why I take my glasses off early in the process.

Was it Dorothy Parker who made this quote: " Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses "?

Actually, LADoug, that famous quote was by Anita Loos, I believe (not sure of the spelling) but maybe she was quoting Dorothy. . .

Are you sure, Phil?

Well glasses do get in the way when kissing which is one reason why I always take them off if that's the direction that things will be moving. However, if I need to see exactly what I am doing such as a BDSM flogging scene where I'm doing the flogging then they are staying on!

You mean the randomness of where you actually make contact isn't a turn-on for some lucky recipient? ;)

Well I can tell you it's a turn on, but it is best to do the flogging responsibly. However, what may feel good in the moment can have adverse consequences. Like needing to apply ice for days on end... Not good... Plus, the 'splaining!!!! !!!! Of course some guys want to be beaten up badly, but that is not normally the way things are practiced in reality. It's better to live to play another day!!

I always hate to get technical about such things, but there is a definite science to flogging and doing It in such a manner so that any bruising is kept to a minimum. It involves the physics of how the lashes make contact with the sub's body plus the areas of the body that are affected. Something that I posted a few years ago:
