Don’t you hate it? I hate it! But hey I love a good chuckle too.

I went to the HEAT in San Antonio last night and I was alone of course! Now I don’t know what is considered a good club because it’s all the same crap to me just a bigger drama production…LOL. You walk in and at first the early crowd is in there clicks very afraid to venture out and of course there not liquored up but once they are that’s when the fun begins. Now I forget allot about what really goes on as I try my hardest to clear my mind after the whole event.

I noticed a few things and here they are.

I wonder why people wear sunglasses in a dark room? That always kind of makes me laugh.

I love the gay men who go to talk to there friends, screaming must be nice. Funny I usually like to talk over dinner or somewhere I can hear them.

You know those men who go just to dance, I can’t dance worth a damn and man am I jealous of them!

How about we were ex BF’s? I don’t know how many men tell me look that is my ex BF, I ask how long were you together and they tell me in a serious tone Hmmmmm 3 weeks or a month. I suppose I thought that was dating and not a BF.

All in all I end up going home alone and ah yes my hand never left me and that is a very good thing!

You are a handsome guy - I'm sure going home alone was because you wanted to.

After you gain another 10 to 15 pounds of muscle, you'll be fighting off all those types you mention every time you go out.

Have Fun

I don't think Vincent would need to do anything to have most of the guys there WANT to take him home.

There is a stand and talk video bar in Boston that I go to with friends once in a while but really don't like it! I was so confused the first time I got there. Huge room with tons of video monitors and great dance music.... AND guys just standing around trying to talk to each other over the very loud music that nobody dances to. As a matter of fact I was told you are not supposed to dance there! I was so confused the first time loud good music and 200 gay guys and nobody dancing I was so confused! I like clubs just not snotty clubs like that ones that you can have a blast at!

>Well I honestly have a hard time because of the snickering

>that goes on behind my back; yeah they act nice in your face

>but there jerks.

Hey Michael--could it be that you are overly sensitive to the "escort" issue you've mentioned in other posts?

In other words, maybe you perceive what the local gay bois are thinking much differently than what they really are thinking.

I'm sure that some will be put off or pretend to be cause you've identified yourself as an escort, but I really doubt that most feel that way.

I'm sure that some may even think that you may be a little arrogant BECAUSE you are an escort and a good looking one at that--obviously popular--so they are the ones feeling a little insecure since you're hotter or cuter or have a national following--you've said on here you are a little shy--sometimes that comes across as being arrogant--especially in a good looking guy who others see no reason to be shy!!!

Anyway, just a thought. ;-)

Hey Vincent,

Why were people laughing at you ? That is bullshit, and if that happened in a straight club they would have got their asses beat (and not in a good way }( )

I have only been to a few gay clubs but have been to many straight clubs, and getting older (and even when I was younger) the biggest problem I had was the volume of the music. Granted that this atmosphere promotes psychedelic drug use and a lack of care for the everyday concerns. However, I dont do drugs and I dont drink so it can be a little difficult to stay there for hours, but its okay if Im with friends.

Im will give you a great saying that my friend taught me. Its an extremely hetero statement but its great. We were talking about all the bullshit and drama that can come in to our lives. I said that I just dont do drama, and my friend said, "Yeah, girls do drama but we dont get caught up in that shit. We dont have drama...we have beef !!!"

In this context "beef" means having a problem with someone that may possible be handled by fighting,

That giggling bullshit would have been seen as beef, since they were giving you a problem, and they would have been handled with a NY State of Mind. If you come up here let me know...my friends and I will have your back, you will have a good time and you wont have to worry about shit !!!
