The Great British Baking Show

I know I've written about this before, so forgive the second posting but last night, to my complete delight, there were 2 new episodes of The Great British Baking Show on PBS. The weather has been unbearably hot here and I only have a/c in the bedroom, so I retreated to the coolness there with a salad and a jug of ice water and happily watched the contestants make vol au vents and dairy free ice cream and sugar free cakes and it was more exciting than any political convention. I'm getting so silly in my old age, and admit it freely. For some reason, that show just makes me happy. Should I be worried?!
