I Blame The Expanding Universe

I was on a plane last night, and I had to use the seatbelt expander. It's never happened before (although I've been close), and the scale at the medical office I frequent actually showed that I had lost some weight recently-and I definitely hadn't gained any.

 

The only explanations I can come up with are that we are all expanding along with the universe o_Oor that this seatbelt was a bit smaller than usual.

This happened to me too, on a flight two or three trips ago. I haven't needed an expander before (or since, for that matter) but that darn seatbelt was just a manufacturing error! Yeah...er, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! :rolleyes:

As I get older, that seatbelt gets tighter, even extended as far as it will go. Not sure how I'll be able to handle needing the expander/extender.

I have needed them on occasion as well. I believe it depends on the plane manufacturer.

 

I also keep my fingers crossed for the complimentary upgrade to first class.
