Some of the posters such as STJ and others have a small icon next to their name for instance when they start a thread it is on the right of the name. What is this? Curiosity getting to me tonight!

I don't see any icons to the RIGHT of people's names. Are you asking about the little "person" icon on the LEFT (the other right) of the name?

 

That's a "feature" that never really got fully implemented and never really got fully turned off either, and comes and goes as the MC software gets upgraded.

 

Or are you talking about Avatar images (again, on the left)?

Okay I have a problem with my left and my right you should see how mad people get when I give them directions.. It is the icon on the left I was just curious I have to find a good aviator..

OK, that little icon is related to "status", but like I said these days it doesn't convey any meaningful information since we're no longer using that feature of the board software. They were actually turned off for a while and came back when Daddy installed the last upgrade.
