In your list, I've only met seanlawrence and those are not his real pics and I don't believe the RM reviews.

 

interesting...i always just assumed sean lawrence was a fake, but he has positive reviews on this site as well.

 

Interesting if true because his Rentmen ad says 'ID Verified'. I'd assume that meant that Rentmen Management had checked to make sure the guy in the face pictures was the guy advertising. That would lead me to believe that if he is a fake, then Rentmen verification procedures can't be trusted, or people are wrong about him having fake pictures.

 

Addendum: I've checked some old threads. It's looking more and more like Rentmen's Verification can't be trusted. The reason why is....

 

When Sean Lawrence 1st started advertising on Rentboy, his pictures were of a muscular probably bald-headed guy who looked nothing like the person currently advertising. He had some reviews on Daddy's using a face picture from that ad. Then after he had been advertising for a while his pictures changed. His face picture was changed to the same one that is on his current RM ad. But his Daddy's Review picture remained the same muscular bald headed/shaved guy as his 1st set on Rentboy. Since then his Daddy's Review picture has changed to a chest shot that no longer shows his face.

 

So with that in mind either the Rentmen Verifcation can't be trusted as I said above-or if it can be trusted then Sean used those original pictures showing a bald/shaved headed guy which weren't him when he 1st started escorting. But after a while he became more comfortable with escorting and started using his real pictures.

So, how do you feel about Gershwin?

 

I lived in Manhattan from 1971 to 1991. It is fun being a tourist there now. I would want to see the new Whitney Museum on the High Line park in Chelsea. Also the new World Trade Center transit station.

 

Are you referring to George and Ira Gershwin? If so, I did not immediately recognize them until listened to a few of their compositions on Spotify.

 

I certainly plan to take in some shows. I managed to secure some tickets to Hamilton and the Book of Mormon. I also plan to visit the 9/11 memorial and the natural history museum.

 

Though it is outside of the city, I plan to visit the FDR Library and Museum in Hyde Park. My grandparents were young when FDR was president and they still have his portrait in their home. I figure I could get them something from there.

Hyde Park is lovely and well worth a visit. Make sure you see Eleanor's little hideout. Also, the Vanderbilt mansion is nearby as a point of contrast. The Vanderbilt's were into conspicuous display whereas the Roosevelt's felt they had nothing to prove.

maybe so. to clarify, i only met simon (and sent him home, actually). i never met guccissimo. i just assumed gucci was a fake.

Yes, lots of fake Gucci in NY, sadly. Especially around Canal Street and Bloomingdales.

 

Canal Street is a great place to get a genuine Rolex for $10. There seems to be an inexhaustible supply.

 

I believe @rocksinurhead was using 'Gucci' as an abbreviated nickname for the escort Guccissimo.

There was an incredible escort in NYC named Louis who was definitely not a fake. And if you can believe it, this was a bad picture of him.

Then a day later he e-mailed an apology saying he shouldn't have led me on, he has a boyfriend/husband and doesn't escort anymore, but he was short on money and that's why he initially replied like that.

Arek was one of my go-to guys in NYC. He is terrific. He did indeed find someone he adores but, as usual, the curse of being tight on $ raises its ugly head. When he told me originally, I had to take him off my portfolio to avoid tempting him. I miss him. :(

I actually hired Guccissimo a number of years ago. At the time I thought he was a disappointing hire because he seemed so into himself and "bossy" in the bedroom. Later, thinking about our time together, I realized that a lot of what occurred between us was quite hot and exciting, enough so that I "thought" about our interaction a number of times and enjoyed the memories. Yes, he was effeminate, but he had a tight, killer body, an endowment that the pictures on his ad (on RB) did not exaggerate, (big and thick and uncut!) a great Italian accent and in hindsight, that overly egotistic attitude he exhibited was kind of a turn-on.

 

I remember the pictures on Simon's ad looked exactly like Guccissimo's pictures. Were they the same? Was Simon just stealing and using the other escort's pictures? Certainly, I was never curious enough to hire Simon, especially since my experience with Guccissimo was so non-BFE!

Btw, Sorry if this is obvious, but just in case: superdotado means gifted...I'm imagining in this environment, it refers to being super hung.
