Guys I didn't want this to get lost in my thread about football fans. Jeff (Duke37) had suggested a HooBoy Fantasy Football League for this year but was side tracked by the storms in his area.

 

We can still start a legaue on Yahoo. I believe the cost is around $25. per team. I guess Jeff or I will buy the league or split the cost.

 

Anyway, we need 8 more players to make it fun. If interested you will need to let us know within the next few days so we can draft and be ready for week 2.

 

In the other thread Jeff said you can email him directly. You can also post here or send me a message to my Inbox.

 

You don't need a lot of experience to play Fantasy Football. Just a love for the game.

I hadn't considered the possibility that guys here would draft based on sex appeal. Sorry guys wrong kind of fantasy. Although I'm on board the Joey Harrington is hot bandwagon.

Why not? Seems like the consensus on this site, is that every venue of life is based on just that, whether the the topic is movies, sports, or even criminals. Doesn't matter if the actor can't act, the pro athlete is a so-so performer or the criminal brutally murdered his wife and unborn child, as long as he is HOT!!!

Well, I'd be interested, but you're probably right about the lack of interest on this site, as sports is not a hot topic of discussion among the "regular" posters.

fantasy league

 

Duke37, I used to be an absolute fanatic NFL fan. My team is the Oakland Raider and I assume it always will be. I have followed them since the 1970 season. I was five years old when that season began.

Daryle Lamonica was my favorite player. My interest in the NFL

has generally been less intense during the last ten years or so.

I, did, however, follow the Raiders a little more closely during 2000, 2001 and 2002 seasons because of their success during those years.

 

I enjoy college football more, though. I grew up in south Florida and presently live in Tennessee. I have only been to one Titans game, though.

 

I would enjoy more a little more sports talk on this forum. However, I'm just not the obsessive sports fan that I used to be. For a laugh, check out http://www.badjocks.com .

Well we tried but just a little too late. That is ok because now we have a year to "butch" these queens up some.
