I saw a commercial for Maryland tourism years ago and the phone # made me scratch my head. Did no one proof read the ad?

I know they mentioned Maryland, but the phone # was 800-MDISFUN.

Took me a while. They did spell with an "I" instead of a "Y".

I am confused.... the phone number is MD IS FUN e.g. Maryland is fun. What is wrong with that?

Well, I had inferred the need for proofreading to mean that the OP thought it was a reference

to Male Dysfunction (which is why I made my obtuse comment about the original being spelled

with an "I" instead of a "Y").
