As I watched the closing ceromonies of this year's olympics, I was deepy moved by what we experienced these last two weeks. I am so proud of all of the young people who demonstrated pride, determination, healthy competition and brother/sisterhood.

For the most part they were a shining example of what is good about the human race. The respect, admiration and even love they shared with one another was truly special. For a short time, there were no Jews, Christians, Muslims; There were no Whites, Blacks Hispanics or Asians; There were no third world, old world or new world. There was just one world at peace, in total grace.

Since, our President wants to add ammendments to our constitution, I'd like to propose one of my own. We should add an ammendment requiring all our public officials to attend each Olympics.

Maybe, just maybe......They will learn a thing or two.

Can we all get along?????????????????????????????????????????

Or, even better would be a law barring candidates from using the Olympics in their campaign advertising.
