I think a lot of them do that just so they aren't locking themselves into a physical thing if there's no sexual chemistry or they're not attracted to you.

 

One of my favorites is "no strings attached" which can mean different things to different people. Either they want your money without doing anything for it...or they'll put out but don't want romance and a relationship...or...

Had a very pleasant lunch with a young man (15 years age difference) last week. He is tired of meaningless Grindr hookups - just wants a friend with benefits. Not looking for a boyfriend/ relationship but he wants to feel appreciated, wants to come over and cook a meal together, have fun under the sheets, share a movie. The guy is just plain lonely! Easy to forget how often that can happen in a big city... He has solid career and does not need money, though I still plan to to see to his needs (I will “help”

Seeking works well for me when it comes to finding a friend with benefits - something ongoing where we can both find what we need to live a more fulfilled life. Covid got here in March of this year and won't be here by March 2022... it will kills us or we'll learn to live with it like we did with HIV.

 

I've talked about Grindr fatigue before, more and more young guys are hiring now. 15 years is not much of a difference but I don't know how old you're.

I'm surprised despite their age and body type some are taking chances with college students. I would stay away from them because they could be asymptomatic and skeptical about Covid-19 but I'm hiring older guys I trust.

Quick response to your edit...I’ve found many college types to be more aware and frequently tested for COVID than many others. College campuses are COVID careful.

The site was offering a 25% discount on premium membership recently, so I took the bait again. Not much happening. I’m glad if the site works out for some other guys, but apparently actually being honest up front that you’re married gets you no replies (and I’m not uploading pics there - I don’t feel safe doing that after the massive data breach that Ashley Madison had- I do say in my profile that I’m willing to exchange pics with guys off the site).

Another "Seeking" intersection. Longtime cam model Zander Sparks of NY has not made an appearance on CB in three months. His TW has been suspended (sometime in the last few weeks), though he's at least visited his OF page recently. Interesting enough, an entry on SA using pix from his Instagram and claiming to be unemployed in Grimsby, Ontario popped up a couple of days ago.

 

I'm tempted to contact him even though it's very likely a scammer.
